Starlots.com had the pleasure of chatting with Nelly Furtado after the end of what was quite possibly the biggest One Big Sunday ever, and the final for this years shows. Held in Leicester on Sunday, 2 September. This Q&A with Neklly Furtado is an extract taken from our complete OBS7 Review Did you have a good time? Yeah, it was great What was the best bits? Watching Craig David's acoustic set, watching Coldplay just now, and Dido that was great, And performing, what were the crowd like? The crowd was so happy to be here its a free event so it has this air of excitement, its back to school, all the kids going back to school so they're excited. What do you think of Leicester, have you seen much of it? Haven't seen much of Leicester but I know a lot of people had trouble getting here and they got lost on the motorway, its tucked away, but a 100,000 people found their way. Would you come back again? Definitely. How are you finding the UK generally, cos your over here quite a lot now, at the moment? Yeah, I've been here for the last month, back and forth through Europe and the UK, and Ireland, yesterday we played Slane Castle with U2 and so, no can't complain, yesterday 80,000 today 100,000 so it's the perfect kind of end to the summer, ending weekend for me, and I'm going back to America tomorrow morning. Your current single 'Turn off the Light', is it quite solicitous, it sounds a bit? Not really, no, its a little bit more... I always do the word play, you know I'm tricky like that, tricky, she's tricky and Hmmmm (Laughter) But errr... you know its basically a song about boy or a girl its kind of just about the balance of finding you know... independence and love at the same time, Yeah...
