MTV Europe Music Awards Host Revealed MTV NETWORKS EUROPE REVEALS THE HOST, NOMINATIONS, PERFORMERS AND PRESENTERS FOR THE MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS 2003 Christina Aguilera to Host 10th Annual Awards Justin Timberlake Leads Awards Race with Five Nominations Confirmed Performers Include Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue, Sean Paul, The Chemical Brothers, The Flaming Lips & Travis Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction Confirmed as Award Presenters London, 29 September 2003: With only 5 weeks until the MTV Europe Music Awards 2003, MTV Networks Europe today revealed the host, nominations and a selection of performers and presenters for the 10th annual ceremony, to take place at the Ocean Terminal Arena, Western Harbour, Leith, Edinburgh on 6 November 2003. The news was revealed today by Brent Hansen, President & Chief Executive, MTV Networks Europe. Multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Christina Aguilera is confirmed host for the event and is guaranteed to bring her own unique brand of creativity and controversy to the biggest event in the European music calendar............... Established MTV Europe Music Awards habitué and worldwide entertainment sensation Robbie Williams holds three nominations for Best Male, Best Pop, and Best Album (Escapology), as do self-proclaimed 'dark rockers' Evanescence who are building on their increasingly impressive year with nominations for Best Group, Best New Act and Best Song (Bring Me To Life). New York hip hop sensation 50 Cent also scores a hat-trick of nominations for Best Hip Hop, Best New Act and Best Album (Get Rich or Die Tryin') and he is joined by dancehall superstar Sean Paul who continues his worldwide musical assault with nominations for Best Male, Best New Act and Best Song (Get Busy)..............
